Mammals were not dominant because of brain size

After the dinosaurs went extinct, mammals saw their bodies grow faster than their skulls.

Dinosaurs dominated the world thanks to their disproportionate size, and when they disappeared, they were replaced by mammals at the height of living. Was it because of their intelligence?
