MI6 SPYMASTERS is looking for a new Q to provide tools for actual James Bonds.
The chief technology officer – who was played by Ben Wishaw in the latest 007 movie – must envision new ways to fight Britain’s enemies.
The official job description states: “MI6 has to be on the cutting edge of technology to stay ahead of the game.
“As Q, you are responsible for the teams that create and adopt technology to empower our mission against tough opponents in the UK.
“You’re turning disruptive technologies from threats to our operations into opportunities, which puts MI6 at the forefront of digital innovation.”
But they warned potential candidates not to keep their applications secret.
They added that “confidentiality is a key factor in the recruitment process.”
According to MI6 Standard Security Practices, you should not discuss your application or your intent to apply with anyone except a partner or close family member.
