Montpellier from space: astronaut Thomas Bisquet publishes a picture of the city taken from the International Space Station

This Wednesday morning, November 3, Thomas Pesquet turned his lens back toward southern France to provide an image of Montpellier seen from the sky.

Thomas Pesquet won’t come down to earth right away. The Crew-3 mission that was to come and carry the astronaut to the International Space Station has been postponed. Suddenly, the French astronaut began a tour of France in major cities, from the sky. A tour of France began in Occitanie, in Carcassonne, a few days ago.

This Wednesday morning, November 3, Thomas Pesquet turned his lens back toward southern France to provide an image of Montpellier seen from the sky. Thomas Pesquet published “We recognize the red surfaces of the Escutcheon emblem and the symmetrical shapes of Antigone and Peyrou that we can see to the sea!”.
