Dusk Golem, a well-known insider with reliable information on Resident Evil and other Capcom projects, indicated that the company has more plans than it has announced. One of the things that will definitely happen is the next-generation patch for Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.

Insiders cannot share more news on this topic. So we don’t know what kind of improvements we can expect. The most logical thing is that this was an increase in resolution and frame rate per second, although that could include other types of improvements as well.
It’s a mystery if Resident Evil Village has a virtual reality
The virtual reality mode is one of the old rumors about Resident Evil Village. However, it is unclear at this time if that will happen at some point.
