One of the most popular Samsung Galaxy A devices in history has been updated with the latest Android security patch.

After updating quite a few mobile phones with the latest Android security patch, Samsung has started releasing the update for one of its most popular mobiles in recent years.

The Samsung Galaxy A51 already has the April 2022 Android security patch. This way, owners of the best-selling Android phone of 2020 can already enjoy the latest updates.

Samsung updates Galaxy A51 with April security patch

As reported by SamMobile, today Samsung has started rolling out the April Android update for the Galaxy A51 in select countries. At the moment, this update is available in Russia with firmware code A515FXXU5FVD2.

And soon the update will be available in the rest of the countries provided that there are no operating problems.

As for news, it’s worth noting that this update fixes the serious “Dirty Pipe” issue, although the Galaxy A51 isn’t affected by it. However, other operational and security issues found in the previous version of the program have been corrected.

The update can be downloaded via OTA to Galaxy A51s around the world in the coming hours. As of now, Samsung has not shared any official change with news of the update, and it may take a few days before it becomes available.
