Splitjet – A fast-paced, free-to-play multiplayer shooter, billed as “Halo Meet Portal” – likely to hit the Nintendo Switch in the future.
In a Q&A session on Twitch earlier this week, developer 1047 Games discussed how making Splitgate as accessible as possible was an important part of the plans. Here’s exactly what CEO Ian Proulx had to say:
“We didn’t start, but…part of the vision is that we want to be available on everything. We want to be available on mobile, Switch — I mean, everything.”
The success of Splitgate’s beta last month surprised the developer, and the downside was that the servers weren’t able to handle the sheer volume of players and the game was delayed.
