TEST Star Wars Pinball VR on Oculus Quest, PC VR, and PlayStation VR

After touring consoles with the Nintendo Switch release in 2019 as the final version, Star Wars Pinball now deals with virtual reality. This new pinball game that takes a good chunk of the original title still contains two new tables and features exclusive to this VR version. Star Wars Pinball VR is available on April 29 for PC VR, PlayStation VR, and Oculus Quest.

Video testing conducted on the Oculus Quest 2 version of the game They are sold for 24.99 euros.

Here are some details that complement the test mainly found in the video above.

Star Wars Pinball VR introduces eight tables, two of which are new ones related to the Mandalorian Collectibles and the Star Wars Classic. They complete the six tables for the original game: Star Wars: A New Hope, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Star Wars Rebels and Masters of the Imposition.

The game immerses you in “Fan Cave” with which you can unlock different game modes which you can customize with a full range of Star Wars merchandise that you got as you progress through career mode. This mode provides you with fifty challenges and also allows you to get averages (multipliers, time slower …) for Arcade mode. The game also features 360-degree mini games like Endor Speeder Bike Chase, Bespin’s Freezing Chamber Duel, and more.

Verdict: 8/10

Star Wars Pinball VR is sure to win over Star Wars and Pinball fans. Very interesting content, many challenges and ratings and above all, using the Star Wars universe here is more than just a tool. The music, goodies and animation from the movies will take you back to specific episodes of the saga. Obviously if you don’t like playing pinball or if the balls have an annoyingly tendency to go anywhere other than where you want them to, then go your way.
