I’m through the game
From Monday 11 April to Friday 15 April at the Regional Sports Center of Alsace
Open new horizons for young people between the ages of 8 and 13 by teaching them to discover educational and fun games that they can reproduce in their family circle. The educational team aims to allow young people to try all kinds of games, role-playing games, balance games (which connect the SRAV Savoir Rouler A Vélo), self-control games (with wall climbing), agility games (such as magic or circus), general culture games It combines mental arithmetic with knowledge of history, geography and living languages. To do this, various activities will be offered: board games, sports, activities for cultural and physical expression, modern language courses (German and English). Every half day, several topics will be proposed. The principle is to associate practice with reflection time and board game time. (Example: a cycling practice as a balance game, followed by an exchange time on a highway code completed by a game of 1,000 terminals). Intellectual learning will be alternated with leisure activities. Through cooperation and exchanges, the ‘I’ must come close to the ‘We’. Exchange, collaborate, accept rules and understand their importance. Young people take advantage of these moments to get to know the different neighborhoods in their city better. By taking advantage of the fact that young people come from different neighborhoods and from different origins, facilitators will highlight the qualities of young people towards a common goal: collective participation in multiple activities. ** A- Engaging youth and promoting the idea of self-knowledge, respect, acceptance of differences and social diversity. ** 1 Promote the independence of young people by leaving the possibility of self-management. – Preparing introductory activities with the animation team in relation to the youth group. Giving responsibilities to young people who actively participate and who demand. – Let young people express themselves and encourage them in their approach (talk circle, end-of-day report, expression wall, etc.) – Take a step back and space to leave more space for young people 2 Develop a concept of citizenship and respect for others – Give young people the opportunity to participate in team-created events animation. – Encouraging listening, speaking and expressing opinions and tastes (workshops and games on psycho-social skills) – Suggesting activities related to prevention, waste sorting, road safety and acceptance differences. 3 Develop Participation and Participation of All – Implement girls’ and other co-ed activities that promote the successful inclusion of girls and youth with disabilities. – Distribute tasks and responsibilities fairly (daily tasks in particular). Be attentive to their requests and needs. 4 Allow young people to get to know themselves better and express their choices and expectations in order to enhance the building of their identity and their realization during residency. Creating a space for expression (self-knowledge games workshops, ideas box, expression wall, suggestion board, discussion circle, etc.) So-called “free” or “optional” activities during informal times, evenings, etc. ** b- Learning to live, finding a place for the individual within a group and in society. **1 Develop Living Together, Discover on the other – Suggest cooperation and mutual assistance activities and workshops on improvisational theater – Be stubborn and hold young people accountable for behaviors that do not conform to the rules of the AB Center and Camps. 2 To convey the values of participation, solidarity and mutual assistance. – Shedding light on union commitment and entrepreneurship by attracting union partners and volunteer workers. Suggest collaborative activities where young people can help others, develop empathy, and share common values. 3 Create cohesion and group dynamics. – Everyone participates in different tasks. Meals and/or snacks taken in groups. – Animations of self-knowledge games, citizen challenges, evenings, days and key games. **C lives and grows on its territory with identification. ** 1 Work in cooperation with the various structures of the city.
