Toddlers make birds using clay and paint

Every morning, while having breakfast, we hear the whistling of birds on the trees. It puts us in a good mood to start the day. The morning moments when you listen to the birds are good everyday moments that bring smiles and energy. To get in some more spring mood, last Wednesday MJC showed kids ages 3 to 5 a simple DIY activity: Make a bird in the morning either with modeling clay or by painting on A4 paper. Under the guidance of Julie, Choral, Laura and Madison, they made a bird either with modeling clay or by painting on a sheet of A4 paper. After preparing clay balls, they made incisions on the bird’s body, and modeled the head, eyes and beak … On Wednesday 8 June, the little ones will make explorer’s binoculars in the morning and take part in a time of fine motor skills and discovery in the afternoon. During this third term, children aged 6-8 years learn to swim or improve their skills and discover guidance through a course at La Primaube in order to promote the city’s cultural and environmental heritage. Children over 9 years old will go to Rayssac to visit Ombelles Park (departure at 9 am and return at 5 pm. Bring a picnic). For kids aged 12-17, MJC offers a digital corner with computers, 3D printer, vinyl cutter, VR helmets…but also table football, billiards, PlayStation 4, ping-pong, board games… Youth space is open Wednesday 2 to 6 pm, Friday from 7 to 11 pm and Saturday from 2 to 6 pm.
