UP Xtreme i14: a new single-board PC, a powerful alternative to the Raspberry Pi, with Intel processors and AI capabilities

AAEON introduces one new computer in its range. In principle, this model can be an alternative Raspberry pieBut it uses standard Intel processors. So it is possible to use Windows 10, Windows 11 and Ubuntu operating systems. There are several processors to choose from, including Intel Core Ultra 5 125 yo, 125 AH, 135 yo, 135 AHIntel Core Ultra 7 155 yo, 155 AH, 165 Sh And Intel Core Ultra 7 165 AH. The RAM cannot be upgraded, and a maximum of 64GB of LDDR5 RAM is permanently installed.

No eMMC storage is installed, so users will have to make do with an M.2 2280 SSD. A SATA port is available for connecting an additional SSD drive or a regular magnetic hard drive. There are many ports available, including four display outputs. High-resolution picture contents can be transferred via two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 2.1 port, and a USB-C port. The USB-C port supports DisplayPort 1.4, while two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports provide powerful connectivity to external storage devices and accessories.

The camera can be connected via MIPI-CSI. M.2 2230 and M.2 3052 slots are also available for cellular modem. There is an Ethernet port with a data transfer rate of up to 2.5 Gb/s for network communications, as well as two RS-232/422/485 ports. The GPIO pin header has 40 pins. With up to 32 TOP AI computing power, the 120.35 x 122.5mm panel is also intended for use in AI-enabled tasks.
