Octordle is a word game based on the very popular Wordle. Octordle differs from Wordle in several ways, but most importantly the number of words used. With Wordle, players try to guess one five-letter word, but with Octordle, players will guess eight five-letter words at a time. Guessing a five letter word can be a bit confusing for some players on its own, so adding another seven isn’t ideal. Octordle is a game for people who want a challenge. Skilled players can really test their skills in this game.
This game works just like Wordle. It is played in the browser and follows the same rules as Wordle. The letters will turn yellow if they are written with a word, but in a different place. They turn green if they are in the word and in the right place.

It can be very difficult to match eight different guesses at once and keep track of which letters were used in a previous guess. A great way to calm things down is to pay attention to the color coordination on the Octordle keyboard. Each letter is divided into four quadrants, each representing one of the first four puzzles in the game of the day.
When a letter is guessed, its result is displayed in one of the keyboard quadrants. If the first game contains the letter, the letter will display the upper left quadrant in green. This only applies to the first four matches, and the four matches are still the hardest.

With the above feature in mind, it might be easier to focus on the bottom four puzzles first, as the quarters made up of letters on the keyboard won’t help it. Other than that, the same tips and tricks used in Wordle will work for this game. Using as many vowels as possible first is a great way to narrow down a word.
