Microsoft has released an important update for Windows 10 with KB5004296, which should solve many gaming issues on Windows PCs.
Microsoft has released the Optional Repair Patch KB5004296 for Windows 10, which aims to solve gaming issues with Windows 10. The patch bears the full name “KB5004296 Cumulative Update Preview” and must be downloaded manually by the user. To do this, go to “Windows Update” in the Windows settings and start checking for updates there. When you are offered KB5004296 to install, click Install. Alternatively, you can choose your own file
KB5004296 is available for Windows 10 2004, Windows 10 20H2, and Windows 10 21H1. The patch is part of the monthly “C-Update” for July 2021. With “C-Updates”, Microsoft gives interested users the opportunity to pre-test the patches so that they are included on the next month’s patch day and then distributed to all Windows users automatically. These “C updates” usually don’t contain any security-related improvements, but instead bring bug fixes, performance increases, and improvements to existing functionality. This game patch will be released to all Windows 10 users in August 2021.
Update KB5004296 aims to resolve several gaming issues that have plagued Windows 10 users since the April 2021 cumulative Patchday update.
