WRC 9: FIA Rally Star DLC is now available

NACON, developer KT Racing Studio and Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) has announced that the new Rally Star DLC for WRC 9, the official FIA World Rally Championship video game, is now available. This new competition mode is the result of close cooperation with the FIA ​​and part of the world’s premier program to find future rally drivers.

WRC 9 is a rally simulator game that has been delighting players around the world since its release on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms. With this next downloadable content, WRC 9 wants to build the bridge for the real race by taking it to the first stage of FIA Rally Star– Selection program is set up to find drivers of future stars.

FIA Rally Star: Green Flag in February
From February to August 2021, twelve online tests will be conducted to select the most promising drivers at WRC 9. This first phase of the competition is open to drivers between the ages of 17 and 26 and will be held only with the new M-Sport Ford Fiesta Rally3. The 12 Test winners qualify for one of the six continental finals.

At the end of the finals, the seven best female drivers and the best women drivers will be registered in an exclusive FIA ​​training and practice program. For the best drivers, the adventure continues with two seasons in the FIA ​​Junior WRC.

“The new level of realism in WRC 9 gives us the opportunity to present this challenge to all sports fans around the world,” said Jerome Russell, FIA Program Director. “It might be the next Sébastien Loeb, Ott Tänak or Sébastien Ogier already training console or PC! We just have to find it!”

FIA Rally Star DLC is now available for Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC on the Epic Games Store.
