This is what the Atracsys Interactive virtual showroom promises

In response to the pandemic, Atracsys Interactive recently launched the platform.Dive“The publication. What exactly is it?

Atracsys Dive is a web-based professional virtual environment platform. The core offering includes hosting, a content management system, statistics, and lead builder module. Additional units are optionally available, which allow a virtual experience of visiting the showroom. This makes Dive an important sales tool in any company: it can receive leads by default and enthusiasm for products.

Who is the show for?

Countless companies have not been able to participate in trade fairs for more than a year because they are not held. Galleries, museums, art galleries, and other things are still largely unexploited. The virtual environment solves these problems and can be accessed from anywhere in the world. The offer is aimed at all companies looking to the future and wanting to offer an extraordinary experience to their customers.

What knowledge is needed to create a virtual showroom on Atracsys Dive, for example?

No. Part of our service is creating a virtual showroom. A customer just needs to know what they would like to display and present in their virtual environment. Often there is already a real showroom that can serve as a model. In cooperation with the client, our specialists develop a concept that is as simple and accessible as possible to the end user.

What is your favorite diving feature at Atraxis?

There are quite a few. A great function is “Together-Mode”, where you can take a visitor with your hand to a shared video conference and lead them across the room or gallery. In that moment, you realize that you are not only on a website anymore, but you really feel like you are there.

What other “furnishing options” does the virtual room offer?

Since it is a virtual environment, there are practically no restrictions regarding configuration options or the environment location.

To what extent can you as a customer of Atracsys Dive develop your new features or interaction options for your own virtual space?

As mentioned earlier, there are hardly any limits to imagination in virtual reality. However, not every idea, no matter how unusual, makes sense. In principle, you should not overburden the visitor or the end customer, so it is advisable to orient yourself towards the reality and our general understanding of the 3D environment. Physics, like gravity, can of course be turned upside down. But this only confuses and is counterproductive.

Analytics is also integrated into the new platform. How can you imagine that? What data is recorded?

You can imagine it like the systems that are currently being installed in real stores that analyze customer behavior. Questions like: “How does a customer move while visiting the store?” Or: “What product does the customer look at for how long?” You can practically look over the shoulder of a website visitor, just like using Google Analytics on classic websites. Statistical assessments are possible and these help to understand what interests your visitors and what is not. So you can adapt the content accordingly.

What are the end devices that customers can use to access virtual rooms?

We are currently working to restrict access to Dive on desktop and laptop computers. Mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets are not yet supported, for technical and practical reasons: the displays are too small to enter a 3D world with them. However, the future promises a lot, especially access via VR headsets of course. This will make the experience more immersive.

How far can groups visit rooms?

We are currently in the process of integrating communication layers and using specialized services such as Zoom. This means that multiple users can join a meeting at the same time that the corresponding service allows.

With which payment form can you obtain the service?

It is very similar to an actual showroom. It must be prepared first. This means hiring a concept interior designer, purchasing furnishings and an on-site team to install everything as desired. After that there is an annual rent for the room and its maintenance. Of course, all of this costs a fraction of what is used in the real world. It’s also a play for kids to move a virtual wall a few meters if you need more space in the future.

What features are planned for diving Atracsys in the future?

We already have a few ideas, most of which are of course secret. As mentioned, the next thing to do is add communication layers to be able to hold meetings and sales conversations as well as full-fledged webinars and webinars. These features are currently the most requested features.

What do you think: How long will the platform continue to be used after the stricter pandemic measures are lifted?

We are convinced that the epidemic will only accelerate digitization, but not significantly alter its course. The online experience has practically not changed in over 30 years. This is due to the fact that new web technologies and global standards must emerge first. Humans and especially their cognitive abilities had perfected themselves thousands of years before the invention of the flat screen for the 3D character of our world. These skills have huge potential, which can now also be tapped online. When you imagine what an existing website will look like in 2030, do you consider navigating by scrolling vertically and clicking on the links?
