The city’s municipal sports office, through its sports school, offered a multi-sports course for children from the age of six to ten. This, the third of the season, was held at the Germain Fumeux gymnasium. Its aim was to introduce the participants to various sports activities in order to help them in their future sporting choices, and to make them aware of the rules of society and the rules of various disciplines, citizenship, respect for others, and coexistence. , with learning through play. For four days, Missandra and Adrian, two of the athletic teachers, supervised a mixed group of 21 children. The program included sports courses, races with hurdles, team games, opposition matches, gymnastics, badminton, and Olympics. A good dose of fun is added to that, in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, with some hints of rivalry to add to the excitement of the confrontations. At the end of the course, all children received a Personal Diploma “Move for Better Learning” and a school sports jersey. For the rest, the usual weekly meetings are on Saturdays from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. that last until the school summer recess.
