The Return of the Japan Alliance

The Japanese Alliance Japon Festival returns to Boé, today Saturday 4th and tomorrow Sunday 5th June.

Alliance Japon, the 100% Japanese Made in Boé event, is back. After two years of waiting due to the pandemic, the 2022 edition begins today. It starts strong from 2 pm.

Traditional and contemporary Japanese culture is featured in the program of this ambitious festival organized by the City of Boé and Youth Service. For two days, visitors will be able to discover the many sides of a country that is firmly at the cutting edge and proud of its centuries-old traditions.

Concert competition, dance, dress-up games, manga, video games, thematic conferences, exhibitions, stands, thematic workshops, crafts workshops (daruma making, koinobori), cultural workshops (calligraphy, wish tree, sushi), well-being activities (shiatsu, nail art, makeup), etc., for two days You will not know where to turn to take advantage of the wonderful program prepared by the organizers.

As for video games, you’ll love the rocket league and smash bros tournament, arcade machines, and virtual reality booths.

It is a true journey into the heart of the Empire of the Rising Sun where visitors are invited. All the faces of Japan await you at Boé this weekend: modernity, virtual culture and traditions from the depths of time.

Saturday 4th June, show opening at 2pm. Manga conference with Wiki Nihon (2:30pm), Cosplay conference with Occitanie Cosplay (3:30pm), Pikanoa manga live sketch show (4pm), Nicky Larson dubbing (5pm), Rocket League final (5:pm) 30pm), Strean Live (6pm), retrogaming conference (6:30pm), cosplay competition (7pm) and Just Dance (8pm), followed by an awards show, karaoke (9pm).

Sunday, the show starts at 10 a.m. Conference on Japan and Art by Mr. Yoshizawa (11 am), Conference on 30 Years of Twinning with Nishinomiya, Sushi Recreation and Tasting Workshop (11:30 am), Conference on Manga with Wiki Nihon (1:30 pm), Cosplay Parade (2:30 p.m.), live broadcast (3 p.m.), Pikanoa anime (4 p.m.), smash bros final (5 p.m.), J-POP (5:30 p.m.), award delivery at 5:45 p.m. Show ends at 6 pm.
