During the French national team's media day, we had the opportunity to talk about many things with Victor Wembanyama, most notably the difference between an NBA match and an FIBA match.
Wimpy now knows both. Who has just finished his first season with Tottenham, played for the first time in France, in ASVEL and with Mets 92 as a reminder. Therefore, he knows the “European” and “American” game. The Chesnai native already has his own preferences, and is well aware that it's not the same thing at all.

Regardless of the competition, Victor Wimpanyama should have a big impact on EDF's game. With Rudy Gobert as their sparring partner, the UFO want to shock the basketball world, and they have what it takes to do so. However, he's on the same wavelength as Rudy on this level.

Regardless, Wimpy seems really keen to compete in the 2024 Olympics, in Paris, in front of his home crowd. The ambition overflows and the desire to compete with the greatest nations in basketball is great.

It's really no coincidence that the Olympics are considered the biggest international competition by many, but the meaning is different when they're played in your own country, with an entire nation cheering on the French players.
