The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for the Nintendo Switch
The original Wii game “The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword” will be released soon for the Nintendo Switch. The producer explains: “We have simulated the use of a sword and shield, in which the player in this title carries two Joy-Con controllers.” “The Joy-Con controller in your right hand represents the sword. With the controller in your left hand, you can use the shield. You can also use any of the controllers to perform other actions, such as archery. It is also possible to operate the button controls so that they can also be triggered. The game is in manual mode or on “Nintendo Switch Lite.”
Nintendo also introduces custom Zelda-designed Joy-Con controllers to match the game. “The optics of the right Joy-Con controller are inspired by the main sword, while the left part shows the Hylia shield,” explains Iggy Anuma. The Nintendo Switch game will be released in July 16, 2021. It can now be pre-ordered from the Nintendo eShop.
