Available Now: Nioh Collection and Remastered Editions

With the Nioh Collection and redesigned versions of Nioh and Nioh 2, players can now try the RPG series on PlayStation 5. Sony announced this in a current press release Friday evening.

The following titles are now available:

  • Nioh Collection (All content from Nioh & Nioh 2, available for PlayStation 5)
  • Nioh Remastered – Full Edition (Available on PlayStation 5)
  • Nioh 2 Remastered – Full Edition (Available on PlayStation 4 & 5)

The Nioh lineup includes redesigned versions of Nioh and Nioh 2 including all DLC expansions and the full game series.

What’s inside – about new releases

Nioh Remastered – The full version includes the first part, now optimized for PS5, including all DLC content. In Nioh 2 Remastered – Complete Edition, players will receive the complementary adventure journey including the three DLC expansions.

All titles available for PlayStation 5 provide crisp 4K resolution, up to 120fps for smooth combat, ultra-fast load times and the ability to transfer saved games from PS4 releases to continue the journey at exactly the same point. (For 4K and 120fps resolution, a display device that supports these features is required.)

All players who own Nioh 2 Remastered – Complete Edition or the base game from Nioh 2 will receive exclusive armor sets when they play the game between February 5-26. The shield can be saved under the menu item “Grace”. These time-limited bonuses are only available during this period.

The Next Generation: Free Upgrade Options

If you want to keep chasing demons in Nioh 2 on PlayStation 5, you can use two upgrade options:

  • Players who have already purchased Nioh 2 Remastered – Complete Edition for PS4 will get a free upgrade to the PS5 version of the game.
  • Players who own Nioh 2 for PS4 can upgrade to the base game Nioh 2 Remastered for PS5. You will also receive all purchased PS4 DLC expansions on the PS5 version.
