In the old days – you know four or five years ago – you knew black Friday was coming when you started seeing Black Friday ad leaks. Scanned PDFs or JPEGs of major retailer ads describing black retail, mostly grains. Aimed at the Sunday newspaper shortly before Thanksgiving week, these will often mark the season’s biggest “door buster” sale, with everything from $ 199 gaming console bundles to $ 99 TVs.
Cut to 2020, and the landscape is a little different. Retailers are now “leaking” circulars on their own platforms and on their own tables, helping to beat the hype drums for their holiday sales. We collect PDFs and links to as many of those sales as possible because we want you to get the best deals of the season. We like links to respective online stores and including CNET stories.
