iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 2 are now vintage products! Here’s what Apple will do with these old gadgets

The iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 2 are both the latest old Apple products. But what does it mean to be on the old tech maker’s list?

Apple currently has two lists of its older gadgets. This is the old list and the outdated list. Devices that have not been distributed or unique for more than five years but less than seven years are included in the vintage category.

On the other hand, Apple gadgets that have not been introduced in more than seven years are classified as obsolete products.

Apple decided to stop distributing these tablets around 2017. Because of this, they are now included in the company’s legacy product list.

iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 2 owners can always count on Apple for service and replacement parts for their old devices, as required by law.

However, repairs will still be subject to change, as repair or maintenance of these devices will depend on Apple continuing to have the necessary hardware parts.

“Products may obtain service and parts from Apple service providers, including Apple retail stores and independent repairers, for at least 5 years from the last time Apple distributed the product,” the manufacturer said. From iPhone via voice Official blog post.

If you are having trouble identifying your iPad model, here are the steps you can follow:

  1. Look at the back of your Apple device.
  2. If the icon on the back of your iPad is already unreadable, you can open Settings and tap the About section.
  3. Once you’re there, look for the model number at the top of your screen.
