Weekly Gadgets: HP Chromebook X360 14a and more

Tech companies such as HP, Pebble and Oppo, among others, this week (April 11-17) launched a new range of smartphones, smartwatches and laptops.

HP Chromebook x360 14a
The new Chromebook features a slim design with an adaptive x360 hinge that gives owners the flexibility to use the device as a tablet or laptop. With the fanless design, users will have a quieter and more comfortable working experience. It is available in three colors: metallic silver, ceramic white, and teal.

The laptop weighs about 1.49 kg and comes with a large capacity battery, which promises HD video playback for up to 14 hours. Moreover, it also supports fast charging.

It features a 14-inch HD display with an 80% screen-to-body ratio. Inside, it is powered by an Intel Celeron N4120 chipset with two powerful Zen cores. On the keyboard, you’ll find Google Chrome-focused features like the Google Assistant and the All Key provides quick and convenient access to search and keyboard shortcuts. In addition, owners are entitled to enjoy Google One subscription benefits of 100 GB of cloud storage for free for one year. It costs 29,999 rupees.

Pebble smart watch
The new Pebble Cosmos Pro has one-click voice assistance, built-in storage for saving local songs, wireless headphone connectivity along with other features such as advanced optical sensors dedicated to audio monitoring.Health.

Besides, it supports more than 100 watch faces, multiple sports modes, hydration alert, pedometer, calories burned, sleep monitoring, theater mode and more.

Available in four different colors – Space Black, Midnight Gold, Ivory Gold and Graphite Blue, the smartwatch comes with a premium metal body and offers up to 15 days of battery backup. It costs 3,499 rupees.

The Pebble Leap features a sturdy and durable design to support your outdoor lifestyle. The watch has an ultra-resistant water-resistant dial with a high-quality, breathable silicone strap.

It is equipped with a 1.3-inch HD display for outdoor use and advanced sensors to continuously measure heart rate, SpO2 and other health vitals.

Equipped with a built-in microphone, speaker and phone contact sync, the Leap allows you to call and talk from the smartwatch without taking out the phone.

Pebble Leap can last up to 15 days of use on a single charge, and other notable features include hydration alert, multiple sport modes, pedometer, sleep monitoring and more. It comes in two color options – Military Green and Premium Black – for 3,999 rupees.

Portonics SoundDrum P
The new SoundDrum P is available in several colors: blue and black. The outer body is made of silicone to provide durability, strength and grip, while the delicate fabric provides a good look with added protection against dust and spills.

It comes with a USB-C charging port, an AUX port, a USB Type-A port, and a Micro SD card slot. Next to it is the control panel that allows users to seamlessly switch between input modes, skip tracks, adjust volume, or answer calls.

In addition, there is a strap that allows for its security and portability so users can attach it to a backpack or attach it to a bike or belt.
