iDISCOVR is a startup from Saint-Etienne that specializes in immersive cultural and scientific experiences. The startup is led by Ayman Zarrouk, MD, PhD, AI & Neuroscience, and Ramadan Ighalozin, PhD, MD, Immunology & Oncology.
The founders have been supported since January 2024 by the Use'In incubator of the Jean Monnet University, led by the Faculty of Engineering Télécom Saint-Etienne and also by Saint-Etienne Métropole, as part of the MIND system, since April 2024.
iDISCOVR is poised to revolutionize the world of scientific mediation and popularization using virtual reality in a new and unique format. The startup offers unique experiences to the general public by creating a spacious space where users can move freely while immersed in fascinating virtual environments, combining entertainment and popular science, all with the help of generative artificial intelligence.
After several months of development, iDISCOVR launches its first immersive virtual reality experience, “Echo of the Universe,” which will immerse you in the mysteries of the universe.
The startup is organizing a day to discover its unique experience, on Thursday, June 27, 2024, between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m., inside the Bâtiment des Forges, for local stakeholders, with the aim of creating synergies and future collaborations.
During this day, 10 one-hour demo and testing sessions are organized by the founders, based on the pre-registration of participants via [email protected]
