Netflix will adapt Dragon Age into the series

The streaming giant continues to exploit the video game worlds with a new adaptation in the context of Castlevania and Dota.

After Castlevania and Dota, Netflix will turn another legendary video game saga into an animated series. This week, the streaming giant unveiled the first trailer for its “Dragon Age: Absolution” series, based on BioWare’s Dragon Age game.

This new series is produced by Red Dog Culture House studio. The story will take place in Tevinter, the world that will be presented in the next part of the saga, called Dreadwolf. We will follow a team of adventurers who will have to face a new chaos in a medieval fantasy world.

Since the advent of the saga in 2009, the series has transported players to the world of Thedas with rich stories, unforgettable characters and terrifying creatures. Netflix explains in a press release. This first adaptation of the animated series marks a new attempt by Netflix to seduce a young audience with an ambitious project, similar to the excellent Castlevania.
